What is a task? How to create a new Task?

I. What is a task?

Task is a task, work assigned to an employee. The task can be internal work or customer-related work, or a small task in a request ticket (Ticket).

II. Instruction to create a new task 

Tasks can be created by all authorized employees in the company

There are many different ways to create Tasks. Currently the system supports 3 ways of creating Tasks

  • Create manually: Enter the task details manually on the interface of the task creation page

  • Create task quickly

  • Marketing Automation: Task is created automatically from Marketing Automation

1.1. Create manually

Step 1. In the menu list on the left, choose Tasks  → press Create task button

Step 2. Enter the necessary information

This includes the following information: 

Field name

Description

Description

Task description content. This information is required to be entered

Group

The group receives the mission

PIC

The employee receives the assignment

You can assign specific employees or choose groups with assignment rules for the system to automatically assign

Priority

Task priority.

There are 3 priority levels: Low, Medium, High

Deadline

Deadline for completing the task. There are 2 ways to choose the deadline: 

  • Choose the time period

  • Choose the time of the end

Category

Used to classify tasks

Related to

Customer related to task

Related to order

Orders related to tasks

Attach files

Attachments related to task

Share

Choose which employees or groups can see the task

  • Everyone: All employees on the org can see the task

  • Only me: Only the creator and owner can see the task

  • Group: The chosen group can see the task.

  • User: The chosen employees can see the task

Step 3. Press Save to complete creating a new task

1.2. Create Task quickly

There are 2 quick ways to create Tasks:

  • Create tasks quickly using the menu bar at the top of the page

  • Create tasks quickly on the customer detail page, Ticket, Transaction, Omni….



  • Create tasks quickly using the menu bar at the top of the page

Step 1. Press   (+) Create   button at the top of the page

Step 2. Press Create Task

The page goes to the Create Task page

Step 3. Enter information and press Save the same way as creating manually.

  • Create tasks quickly on the customer detail page, Ticket, Transaction, Omni…

Step 1. Open the detail page of the customer (or Ticket, Order, Omni…)

Step 2. Open Task tab, Press Add new

Step 3. Enter information and press Save

1.3. Create task automatically by Marketing Automation

Step 1: At the AntCRM screen, choose Automation section, then choose Add new

Step 2: Automation Information:

  • Automation Name*(required): Enter automation name

  • Description: 

Step 3: Setting “Objects of process activation:"

Choose Contacts symbol

Step 4: Setting “Trigger conditions:

Choose conditions

Step 5: Setting “These actions is performed:

  • Choose task symbol

  • Description: Enter the content of task

  • Group: Choose the assigned group 

  • PIC: Choose the assigned employee

  • Priority: Choose the priority level of task

  • Deadline: Choose the time to complete the task

  • Category: Choose category classify tasks

Step 6: After saving successfully, the newly created automation will display in the automation list, press Enable to apply.

You can edit by pressing button or delete by pressing button.
